Rocket League Not Launching

I am using Ubuntu LTS 24 and Rocket League is not running. I am not sure I installed everything correctly.

At least this gone now. Now in case of maybe your prefix gone weird, go to Games/Heroic/Prefixes/Rocket League and delete that directory. And try again.

No Go to game page- Settings ( Top Right) Advanced Scroll down there until you find Environment variables In there PROTON_USE_WINED3D as key, 1 as value If it works, it will mean Nvidia driver has some weirdness

You rebooted your system after driver install right? If yes, then only possibility i can think of it is either you have some 32 bit-64 bit driver mismatch or the way you installed the driver is wrong somehow. Eg using nvidia's .run package instead of distro means

I installed the driver when installing linux I chose to "Download extra stuff like graphics driver and whatever" The extra option when installing ubuntu

Ok, that should be the proper way actually but for the sake of testing remove NV drivers, reboot, after reboot install them again and reboot again. Maybe live install process has some weirdness surrounding it Meanwhile im installing that smurf ridden game to see if it fails here too.

Ye I'm reinstalling them Once I'm done I'll come back Internet in Egypt is a bit slow so it'll take like 10 mins to download I reinstalled the drivers and it still says vendor: nvidia mesa and I just tried launching the game and it still crashed https://0x0.st/Kulx.log

If you tick this, yes Now right click to dolores in your Steam library, properties, compatibility Choose Proton Experimental there If it still works that means something super weird goes on with Heroic

Yep, i dont use flatpak so i made up names there mine is /home/beast/.config/heroic/tools/proton/Proton-GE-latest/files/lib/wine/dxvk Anyways, in that dxvk dir there is i386-windows and x86_64-windows dirs Basically swap those ones with newest you downloaded
