i'm in a bit of a stressful situation and really need some advice here.
quick background: i've been happily using the free tier - had 2 projects running perfectly fine, no issues at all. but i have a customer demo appointment tomorrow (saturday) so i decided to upgrade to pro on tuesday specifically for this. wanted everything to be solid and professional for the meeting.
what went wrong: this morning i saw the database upgrade option in my dashboard. there was no warning or anything about issues, so i thought "hey this is probably good to do before my demo" and clicked upgrade.
that was 12+ hours ago. project has been stuck on "upgrading in progress" ever since. completely offline, can't access anything.
why i'm stressed: i have a customer appointment TOMORROW. i literally need to work tonight to prepare everything for the meeting. i can't access my database, can't test anything, can't prepare.
the irony is my free tier projects were working perfectly. i upgraded to pro specifically to have better reliability for this important customer meeting, and now i'm in a worse situation than before.
support response: opened ticket (SU-270807) this morning. didn't get a real response until like 8 hours later. they escalated to infra team and just said "working through a backlog" with no timeline.
considering my options: i'm thinking about just creating a new free account right now so i can at least work tonight and have SOMETHING ready for tomorrow's meeting. my free projects were working fine before, so maybe that's the better move?
but then i paid for pro and it's only been 2 days... this feels crazy.
has anyone dealt with stuck upgrades in eu regions? the status page mentions capacity issues but there was NO warning in the dashboard when i clicked upgrade.
i'm genuinely stressed about this customer appointment tomorrow. any advice would really help.
