Mixing HDMI and DPORT breaks >60 refresh rates?
Hello, I've recently installed bazzite. I have an amd cpu and an amd 7900xtx gpu.
monitor 1 - hdmi 60hz
monitor 2 - hdmi 60hz
monitor 3 - dport (currently 60, but 240hz supported, works on windows)
If i try to increase my refresh rate on monitor 3 for anything higher that 60fps, the whole system freezes. tty wont launch, mouse wont work. i get a blank screen.
What does work; removing monitor 1 and 2 or using a dport adapter on monitor 1 and removing monitor 2. so if i have only two monitors with dport, i am able to use 240hz on monitor 3 and 60hz on monitor 1.
I've tried kde and gnome variants.
Any ideas?
