Block Steam from Internet
Hey everyone,
Brand new user coming from windows/fedora. I've officially moved all my pcs to either bazzite or aurora and I love how it is set up out of the box. My only issue is I don't use steam, dont trust it, and I don't really want it. I use aurora and waydroid (a lot but entirely offline) so it might be nice to block their connection too. I've tried to cut steam's inbound and outbound traffic off with the native firewalld and I cant.
So is it better to:
--just try to add waydroid/lutris to aurora (any other drivers, etc?)
--try to delete steam completely from the os tree (probably not, how?)
--add firejailed to the ostree (probably not)
--something else?

* just try to add waydroid/lutris to aurora: better keep using bazzite, no need to go custom images route when there is bazzite. did you layer waydroid on aurora or something?
* try to delete steam completely from the os tree: no you don't (on bazzite, on aurora steam is not preinstalled) but you can prevent steam from auto starting. search for "startup" in settings and you'll find steam. remove it and you'll be good to go.
* waydroid: why do you need to cut off waydroid from network? waydroid and its vanilla android images are %100 foss
You're right about waydroid, i just use offline apps there and its been my habit to remove internet access from anything that didn't need it.
It would also be my preference to stay on bazzite. I have already prevented steam from auto-starting. That said, if I can block its access to the internet I'd like to, same with lutris. Is there a way to cut off internet access on bazzite on a per app basis (even if it means installing something from flatpak etc?)
