Steam libraries keep getting messed up.

Sorry if someone posted about this already, I didn't know what other keywords to search. There have been a few times that updates have left me with only the few Steam games on my primary drive. It starts with Steam asking for me to login with my authenticator. Then I have to figure out which drive the missing games are on and "reinstall" them. Adding the drive to my library didn't do anything, but this last time I just had to reinstall one game and the others appeared. Repairing the library via Steam didn't do anything. I just want to know if this is a known issue, or if I'm the only one. Thanks!

Since someone else will eventually ask it. Are you running your games off a windows NTFS drive?

No The drives themselves never unmounted either.

Just being sure. Someone else will have to chime in to help further, but that gets the important question out of the way. (Haven't been gaming much just youtube binging on this end)
