analog audio

I installed Bazzite on my new main Rig in the hope of getting away from windows forever. I am unable to get analog audio over the 3.5mm Jacks of my mainboard to the speakers. My board has 3 Jacks. All 3 are occupied by the cable of my speakers. It is a 5.1 system but i only care about the front speakers and the subwoofer.

i got audio to the speakers left and right over line out but i would like to get to get the system to work as 2.1 speaker TLDR: I reinstalled bazzite and got back to having only headphones. Mobo has realtek ACL897 Rant: I have to say that this really sours my experience. I tried to follow some guide but I broke the sound system completely so I decide to make a fresh install of the whole Bazzite. I am now where I started. Audio coming out only from headphones via front jack and zero from the speakers. I spent two evenings struggling to get a basic functionality to work, I understand that the manufacturers don't give support for Linux but Jesus I am getting PTSD for Alsa and her friends. I was already traumatized by Alsa 15 years ago under Debian and hoped in a smooth experience this time but no. I am considering buying a usb DAC and try my luck like that. I hate spending the money specially knowing that under wintrash11 it would work as it is now. I would have bought a different Mainboard of i knew.

I bought a DAC for 40€. It works out of the box with all possible modes. https://amzn.eu/d/3uMuikZ
