When switching from desktop mode to gaming mode screen turns black and I'm brought back to desktop
Hey guys, after recently updating my bazzite install when I try go to desktop and then try to go back to gaming mode all my monitors turn black and after a while I'm brought back to desktop mode, then a steam update launches and I have to log into steam again, this happens even under game scope on the occasion I reboot. The only way to get back into gaming mode is by rebooting the entire PC.
I'm using the bazzite-deck image and am currently on a 3 monitor setup: one 1080p 144hz free sync monitor; one 1200p 60hz monitor l, no vrr or hdr; a 4k 120hz tv HDR and vrr both turned on over HDMI 2.1.
Haven't had any problems under game scope, issue only happens when trying to switch from desktop to gaming mode.
I've read on the internet that the issue may be caused by messing with the scaling settings on desktop or game scope. I have brought all scaling options to default and the issue persists.
The only display setting I've changed is the resolution under gaming mode. If I set the resolution to auto it defaults to 2160p@60hz, I've manually changed it to 2160p@120hz.
