The finals stutters like crazy

having a real hard time running the finals i tried everything best i could do is -d11 on steam with proton expermental i get the same performance i had in windows but when i move to fast or something explodes it just drops frames to 30 i already disabled the power saving thing in game and turned on performance mode, dont know if that helps since im in pc, and nothing. anyone has got it working with an nvidia card?

https://www.protondb.com/app/2073850 This is your best bet on information on getting it to run well. Have you looked at protondb before? Looks like there's a few tweaks needed such as using Proton Experimental and some say some other things such as "-useallavailablecores"

oh thanks! will give it a go i did try some things there not all and since i got it running like windows did i thought maybe it had something to do with my system for the stutters and what not, but gonna go trough that list see if anything works thank you

Of course! Protondb is a great source of info on getting a game to behave. Since we use a lot of tools from steam like proton it's not always perfect, but linux users are stubborn as hell. Someone has usually found a way.

Set all settings to low, turn off any upscaling, remove D3D11 (11 causes stutter) tf has %25 perf hit on nvidia w/ dx12
