Sudden problems and super slanted mesh on VCore 3.1 400

I went to print something today (it's been maybe a week or two since I printed last?) and hit a problem. Before printing, it went through the normal homing step, then went to do the bed mesh. When it got to the front right side of the bed (so, not too far into the mesh measurement, kind of by the front right z-screw) it drove my hotend into the bed (there was grinding noises and the hotend flexed a bit until it let off), then it canceled the print and gave me an error. I thought this was weird, so I ran a bed mesh. Up until now, it was pretty dialed in (see attached screenshot). I've had this for years and haven't had a problem with the mesh. When I ran the mesh again, though, it is super slanted (see second attached screenshot). Any idea what's going on here?

I would check the movement of the Z axis (lead screws and rails) and make sure z tilt is applied

Thanks for the idea! I adjusted the rails and applied a z tilt and it's looking a lot better. I also lubricated the screws and rails. I kind of think that something has gone wrong with my z2 stepper and/or my SuperPinda probe. During the z tilt adjustment the numbers always vary pretty wildly in that corner, sometimes causing it to over-correct and drive the nozzle into the bed. I just did a Home sequence and it also impacted my bed in the middle of the plate, too.
