Distant Horizons server LOD temp files on wrong drive

I'm using the newest version of DH on my build server and client, when using it on the client all the temp files are located in the .minecraft folder of my instance (in my E drive) but when i join my server after about 15 minutes the game crashes because it filled up my C drive. Why is this happening and how can i fix this 😭 https://mclo.gs/EF0ty0i

the logs say you ran out of memory, not out of storage how much do you have allocated to the game

its a superflat world with only 256 render distance idk what could possibly be taking up that much storage

you should know, that the fuller an ssd is, the faster it dies

joined server at 22:47 now its 23:04 and C has dropped by only ab 200 mb (only dh and the mods required to join)

it seems one of these is causing the issue

its a partition of 1 drive was too lazy to combine them when i got the pc and now 5 years later its coming to bite me in the butt

you can do a !binary search to try figure out which mod is causing it

Try a binary search and figure out which mod is causing it. So disable half of the mods, see if issue is still there, if yes disable half again etc etc until you find the mod that's causing the issue.

i took the mods from an axiom modpack that has dh (basically just updated it for 1.21.10) only mod i added was https://modrinth.com/mod/fusion-connected-textures so im guessing its that but ill still test it
Modrinth
Fusion (Connected Textures) - Minecraft Mod
Fusion allows resource packs to use additional texture and model types such as connected textures!

that doesnt matter unfotunately. a ssd avoids dead by spreading out its data, but because a partition cant be moved, it confindes the data to that section of the drive. the part of the ssd that houses your C drive will now wear out a lot faster than E

running both and the result is with fusion: drops storage fairly quickly for some reason with only dh and mods required for playing: drops about 100 mb every ~10 minutes it also completely clears the second i leave the server

You can try Continuity instead of fusion

not available for 1.21.10 i guess i can work without it and then turn it on for screenshots
