Bazzite gamescope-session-plus
Is it possible to replicate Bazzite's version of gamescope-session-plus (and all the required scripts) on a desktop pc running fedora 42?
Is there any repo I can use? I tried https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/bazzite-org/bazzite/package/gamescope-session-plus/ but it seems to me it only has the gamescope-session-plus package that basically only adds gamescope-session-plus to my /usr/bin/ folder. I hoped It included all needed files.
I have Bazzite on my htpc and would like to have a session starting the "steam gaming mode" on my desktop too.

the easiest way to get Steam gaming mode is to install Bazzite, if you're on Atomic Fedora you can rebase to Bazzite
My main point is to have a sistem without many of the tools I don't need and get preinstalled by Bazzite (like I don't use lutris, I don't use it on an hendheld, I don't like some of the chosen apps and I prefer the vanilla kde alternatives). Moreover I like Bazaar as a store, but you can't remove the included packages from there because I suppose they are rpms and not flatpacks. Any suggestion on this
hmmm, perhaps make your own custom image based on bazzite-deck? you could ask in #πͺcustom-image-support
this is doable even on no-DE no-WM images, but it wont be as convenient as bazzite. just made one myself
but yes this is a custom image territory
you'll want to look into stuff like this https://github.com/ChimeraOS/gamescope-session https://github.com/shahnawazshahin/steam-using-gamescope-guide
