Possible to disable gamescope-session-plus temporarily?
Hi there, I'm trying to disable game-scope-session-plus as per this discussion: https://github.com/ublue-os/bazzite/issues/1702
but I cannot, because Bazzite is immutable and I don't understand how to work around this.
I have a Ayn Loki Zero, and like all Loki Zeros (which are just pre-Ryzen), games are unplayable when running in Gamescope. Don't Starve in Desktop mode is a locked 60fps, and in Gamescope it's 20fps.
Please help me switch to Gamescope legacy to see if this is the issue because I have spent an absolutely wild amount of time trying to fix this problem already.

gamescope-legacy has not existed for months and was only needed for Polaris and Vega gpus
we have no vega graphics machines ourselves with testing, the only thing we have are 2 polaris cards last time i checked and they worked fine
Pretty sure to do this. You would have to change the launch options for game mode to use Wayland instead of game scope, but I think the steam UI game mode has incompatibility issues with Wayland. The games should launch without issue, launching them from desktop mode. Not sure if you could somehow add some non-steam game and a launch option to switch to desktop mode and then launch the game from the game UI but then it wouldn't bring you back to the steam UI.
Hi! I'm having a similar issue with Red Dead Redemption 2, and Doom: The Dark Ages. Though it only happens sometimes (for example, happens in rdr after changing a setting, then fixes itself shortly after.) Do you think it's a gamescope related issue?
For me, it seems to be some kind of issue with the "sharp" scaling filter. Disabling that seems to have solved my issues with red dead, but I uninstalled Doom earlier so I can't test that.
Yeah, the GPU in this handheld is a Vega GPU (integrated).
