Supabase, Proxy & Next.js 16

Is the official guide with middleware.ts still the best practice in next.js 16 with proxy.ts instead?

Proxy.ts does not change anything, on my side the issue I have is that getUser does a database call directly in the "proxy" which is not the best ux practice, anyone has an idea to get around that? Get claims does not seems to refresh when access token expired in ssr

getClaims is similar but now I am wondering how will I implement the refresh logic, I need a new way, what if I get claims if expired get User?

All point to it will refresh if expiring/expired with SSR.
