Failed Restore [Urgent] - SU-283536

On Pro Plan here is my ticket number SU-283536 . I was passed to Infrastructure team but I haven’t gotten any acknowledgment email or anything saying they have received it or any timeline it’s been a few days since I spoke to support. It did mention they are expecting delays but still some acknowledgment that infrastructure team has received my ticket and request would be nice. Thank You for your time and effort. I looked into it and the backup seems to be corrupted maybe syntax errors I was able to have Ai extract a lot of the stuff manually but still it’s tedious work to rebuild the entire database manually.

We have a SB contact to see if it got moved to the infra queue, but you got that message. But nothing beyond that. How many days since you got the message it was moved to infra? Infra does not send an email to say they got it as it is likely just a queue setting in their support system.

We have the same problem, for nearly 36h no information received project completly down and inaccessible this is a worst case scenario. We have no influence to get the project back up running and not information at all this completly destroyed my trust in supabase at this point to host and run my apps absolutely unacceptable. They also need to turn off the restore feature when it's destroying users data and projects

would really appreciate the team looking into this as our team is fielding questions from our customers who have seen our platform go offline... (on Pro Plan)

the whole restore issue corrupting user data is an issue that needs to be fixed ASAP, this is a worst case scenario for supabase here is another thread with the same problem https://discord.com/channels/839993398554656828/1006358244786196510/threads/1431059097515720744

Yes the mods see the threads. Posting in multiple threads also makes it tuff to sort out who has what issue and which ones have already been bumped. We are users. We have an employee contact to escalate if down for days and not in infra. If in infra not sure that employee can speed up the infra team. This site is not monitored regularly by the team but I link threads when I bump.

Not sure they can just turn it off if you NEED your backup, but somesort of are you sure right now due to xyz... maybe.
This is not happening everytime you do a Backup Restore is my understanding.

a backup that takes down the whole project is worth a negative sum. I would have preferred to keep my project running with a little data problem instead of taking it down for days completly. this is a paid app in the app stores

Right, so an option I could see. You could also generate an issue in supabase/supabase github issues with that suggestion. I mentioned this awhile back along similar lines to them...
