Account Hacked
Hey guys, I hope you’re doing well. I’m reaching out because I’ve recently faced a serious issue with my PUBG account
My account was scammed three days ago. I immediately filed a claim with PUBG support, but unfortunately, the claim was denied yesterday.
Following that, I reported the matter to the FBI under a cyber-enabled extortion case. I have both the case number and report, and I plan to schedule a meeting with them soon to pursue the scammers further.
How it happened:
Two potential buyers approached me and convinced me to share my login details, claiming that QR login didn’t work on their phones and they needed to verify the account. Within seconds of logging in, they changed the email, phone number, and linked socials, then demanded money to return my account — threatening to delete it otherwise.
I tried to get their bank details by pretending to comply, but they insisted on payment through gift cards, which I refused.
After the first claim was denied, I filed a new application through PUBG’s Reddit support, providing every detail they requested — including the FBI case report (IC3 Cyber Extortion), chat screenshots, and the scammers’ phone numbers.
I have yet not received their confirmation email saying we have received your account claim request.
My question:
Given all this evidence, is it realistically possible to recover my account?
I’m determined to pursue both the recovery and the legal case.
Regarding the FBI part, I can handle that since I live close to their HQ. However, for the PUBG recovery, since the company is based in South Korea, how can I reach their official support team directly?
If necessary, I’m even willing to travel there — or alternatively, send all the documents and evidence via email if that’s a valid option.

I would like to remind you that trading, sharing, purchasing and selling PUBG MOBILE accounts is not allowed. If you choose to participate in these activities then only you would be responsible for your own loss.
You can still try submitting an account recovery request from https://pubgmobile.live/support > Recovery....

Buddy why’d u get the FBI involved
Lmfao.... first of all thats an "ic3" report?? Ice?? LOOL. Sounds fake af to me. Its a video game. Not that serious lol.
IC3 is Cyber Enabled Extortion Report. Look it up before calling it fake.
Fbi isnt gonna do anything about your pubg mobile account lol. They couldnt give 2 **s less. YOU had the option to NOT give your details out and block them if they were harrassing you.
That’s because I have spent a lot on this account and I have all the proofs of my spendings. Plus those suspects demanded money to give back my account or else they are going to delete it.
Correct. It’s my mistake. Now I am trying to make things right. Any help is appreciated if you can.
"Convinced me to give my login details" your fault. Might as well start over lol

I have already submitted the request through this link in the morning and have not received any confirmation email saying your request has been received. Is this normal?
Yep, that's normal. You can check the status of your request from https://pubgmobile.live/status instead.
I do not see my request over here. It is going to be posted here only when they have received my report?
What is your ID?

It just showed up. Thank you. It says pending
You can expect to receive a response within 7 working days~
Sometimes it might take a little longer than that if the verification process takes longer for your account. Hopefully you’ll hear back good news!
Even if you log into the account, you still need to enter a verification code for the account binding. You didn’t give them the verification code for the binding, did you?
I have provided a different email in case it gets approved. So the verification code is going to come in another email right?
The verification code for account binding is sent to the associated email.
I have updated the password & turned on two factor verification. Nobody has access to that email.
If you had opened these, your account shouldn't have been stolen
