Google Meets disconnects all audio and mic temporarily
Hello. When I enter google meets and press "Allow" in my browser to give microphone permissions, after a short delay (could be a few seconds to a minute), I lose all audio, and my microphone doesn't work anymore. If I try to enter Sound settings during this time, it will not find any audio whatsoever. If I try to play music or a video, it will simply not play and continue to load until the problem resolves itself (which it does after I exit the google meeting).
Any program related to audio, whether music app or browser frequently freezes (Not Responding) while this error is occurring, and it often lasts for several issues.
I have tried several browsers and I have tried restarting my PC multiple times. My microphone works perfectly if I test it with an audio recording software, in games or on Discord.
Any clue what could be wrong?
I'm running an rtx 4080 with an i-13700kf, 32gb ddr5 ram 2x 2TB SSD

Wanted to bump in hopes someone knows what could be up with this
so
when you hit allow sound stops basically right away?
Yes, the microphone stops immediately, sometimes it takes a little while (30-60 seconds maybe) before audio cuts out, sometimes audio cuts immediately.
After that when i try to play sound, the program that tries running the sound often freezes or even crashes (browser, music player, video player, etc)
yeeeeeah
i haven\t noticed any problems yet myself
what's happening is for some reason the sound server is crashing on your end we can confirm this & probably see why
