need help downloading Bazzite

I'm very new to Bazzite and to be honest Reading the way to set it up confuses me. If a program does not have install button I'm lost. you could almost say I need my hand held. the computer I'd like to run Bazzite on is a HP Z600 workstation... dual CPU X5675 3.06 Mhz, 48gigs ram AMD XFX570 8Gig video card. A 512Gig SSD for the OS and a 750Gig HDD for storage. the machine is currenly running a fresh install of Linux mint 21. I do not want to run this machine with a dual boot sys. Bazzite is the only OS I want on it as it will be used to play older games from the late 80's thru the mid 90's maybe a few newer ones. I will just need to see what it can run. The HP Z600 CPU's are LGA1366 (westmereEP) so I'm not sure what issues I may run into. I have run Win10 Pro on it with no issues. I have watched a videos on downloading Bazzite and I'm still a bit lost. I really want to use Bazzite on this machine if possible. any help would be greatly appreaciated

What exactly is the question here? Download the ISo and install it. Select what kind of PC and what GPU download flash and install it

in answer to your reply. I did all that and it still refused to load on the HP Z600. It did however load and run on Win11 pc with no issues. I tried trying to get it to run with linux mint 21 and it would not load and run. It got to the grub screen and that was it. just a blinking cursor. I tried loading it on the same machine running win10 and still only got to the grub screen. so there may be an issue with running Bazzite on a HP dual cpu machine. As I can get Bazzite running on a Win11 machine, I'll just have to live with that. I was hoping to setup a machine with Bazzite as the only OS.... Ah well wish in one hand and ???? in the other and see witch one fills up first lol, nuff said

I'm not sure the Z600 has secure boot. I'll need to set it up and go thru the bios. being a HP workstation its a bit different setup. does secure boot need to be enabled? if so let me know as I may be able to update the bios.

bazzite can work with secure boot (instructions are here) https://docs.bazzite.gg/General/Installation_Guide/secure_boot/?h=secure but if you'll only be using bazzite you can just turn it off
Secure Boot Instructions - Bazzite Documentation
Bazzite is a custom image built upon Fedora Atomic Desktops that brings the best of Linux gaming to all of your devices.

I downloaded it when Linux Mint 21 was installed on the Z600 and burned the ISO to the USB stick. I have Bazzite installed on a Win 11 machine but I set it up where the computer boots from the Bazzite OS. The OS works very well. I'm having issues trying to get steam and lutris to work. I setup an account with steam wrote down the user name/password and steam does not recognize the password. I've tried resetting it and get no where, tried setting up another account and get the same thing. Got a letter/ number code to to use and where does it go? and of course it did not work. so I'm a bit PO'ed at present and taking a break from Bazzite...... So although the Bazzite OS is very good and I like the way it looks. What I want/need for it to do is not working so far. So I still need help so I can find out where I'm going wrong

bazzite OS username & password are not the same as steam username and password, you can't use the OS login details for steam

I did not use the same username/password for the steam acc Bazzite is installed on a Windows 11 machine. when had the Z600 setup with linux Mint 21 I downloaded the ISO and burned to a USB stick. I did try to install it and it was a no go. So I setup one of my Windows machines and setup Bazzite on it. I tried out the live verison and later did a install of the latest stable Bazzite OS and it works very well on the PC. I have Bazzite installed on a different drive than windows is on and the machine is set to boot from the drive with Bazzite on it The Bazzite OS is working with out issues. what I'm dealing with now is trying to get steam and Lutris working. Steam for some reason does not recognize the password I'm using . i've even reset it and still no joy. so I'm at a loss with that. lutris for some reason is installed as is Steam but the game I want to play is asking for steam and I cannot get steam to work due to the password issues. So I basicly F'ed at present Its not, As the OS finally got installed and is working very well. The issues now are Steam and lutris. i have tried many times and every time it does not recognize the password. I have reset it, tried using the number/letter code steam sent me and of course it did not work. I tried setting up another account using a different emaill address and password. and the same thing Steam does not recognize the password. and I used a different password on every acc I tried to setup. So I'm just a bit Frustrated at present. I have no issue with Bazzite its just steam and lutris. So break time for a while until I calm down..... :(.... thank you for the help

Did you check if you have numlock or caps lock on when typing the password?

More issues, 🙁 The OS said it was running out of disk space although it was working very well. I was able to get Steam and lutris working. steam turned out to be a disappointment. no games on it that I wanted to play. Lutris worked and I found the games I wanted and ran into an issue installing the first one I wanted to install. The forever spinning gear. for over two hours. so ok Lets see if I can get more disk space. Using a 256 Gig M2 SSD. Wound up doing a fresh install and although 16Gig is required for the OS. Using the automatic disk tool it only showed 1.5 gig available for the OS. So I tried using the custom and It would not let me add or change the partitions on the drive 256 gigs with nothing on it and using the auto feature it would only show 1.5 gig available. I was unable to change disk partitioning. when it did work it would only show a 1.5gig partition for the OS and 238gigs of empty space on the second partition. no matter what I did I was unable to change anything and that included trying more than one M2 SSD. So now I'm a bit disappointed. I do like bazzite and how well it works. however the setup seems to need a bit more work as to creating the needed disk partitions or maybe its just me. several things were grayed out and unuasable. I do not know why and I tried all the help I could find online. why its not letting me change the disk partitions I do not know. So back to winblows for now on a different machine. I will keep trying and just maybe I'll get it to work as it should.... lol We shall see Still need help as I'm having issues with partitioning the drive. Seems I do not know what a mount point is and I'm still unable change a partition. I've tried sever different SSD drives and I get any where from a 1024 megabyte to a 600 megabyte as the boot partition when it calls for at least a 14Gigabyte boot partition. All I want is to install Bazzite on the boot partition and have at least a350Gig data partition. As I stated if it does not have an install button and do everything automaticly I'm lost. I have trouble trying to configure setups. I really need help 🙁 for some reason Bazzite only sees a small boot partition instead of the needed 14Gig and that is letting do it automaticly and me trying to do it manually.... help please Well after many tries and different OS's Linux Mint 21 and Win10. I still get the same errors about available space on the drive for the install be it the live version or the full install. so it looks like Bazzite is a lost cause for me and for the not so stellar help when asked on more than one occasion. nuff said
