Cannot mod some games, .local hidden in modding file browser

Hello! I have been trying to mod some games (r2modmanager and lethal company), and it wants me to find the lethal company and steam folders. But the file browser it forces me to use does not access the .local folder, so I cannot reach any of my steam folders to mod the game. I also cannot seem to find any way to put the path of the folder directly into it. Is there a way to make the folder visible in the file browser, or somehow have steam in a different location thats accessible? anything that could make this possible? Thank you! Dont know if this matters, but r2modmanager is being ran through lutris
