You should send your latest.log file to provide additional useful information. Logs are usually located in the .minecraft/logs directory. On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs Please upload the file to mclo.gs instead of sending the raw file. This makes reading the contents of the file a lot easier and improves the chances of you getting the help needed. After uploading the file, click on Save and send the link.

not only trees either.

Yeah, it is all that's affected by biome tint As the biome colour is blue there for some reason I assume the wrong colour is only on DH LODs, it is not there when you go there and load this into vanilla RD?

yesyes how does one untint the biome or atleast unblue the untintable tint

probably not helping you specifically, but for the record let it be known that the Bliss shader's 'seasons' feature that changes environmental colors over time is also bad for DH LODs

ya i alr read that n got hopeful i removed realisticseasons from server to test befrore also, didnt help but i deleted lods and regen and theyre fine but i want to reenable realisticseasons but scared that might be cause

I would guess one of the mods adds the blue tinted biome, so remove that mods and regen the LODs

what you have to bear in mind is that trees in the LOD are not trees. they're just a simplified pile of vertices with stretched out random noise textures. they can't know that some mod says they should be changing color

plugin*** a plugin that turns tree colors when seasons change...

They get the biome tint from vanilla on world load Reentering the world will update all biome tinting, so they can be changing colours over time But if something is tinting the colour blue by accident, I don't think it will just randomly stop doing so

does that not change biome color in return gdamm it

you'd still need to regenerate the LODs which of course takes forever unless you mean a universal color shift per biome the Bliss shader case I'm thinking of colors specifically tree leaves
Miki_P98
Miki_P982mo ago
You won't, LOD colours are not baked into the LOD They are calculated when entering the world

sounds like that's the unless part, but I think those tree specific things are still a problem

I also experience this issue. I mainly use Regions Unexplored for extra biomes, and this issue seems to be with certain biomes from that mod. However, not every instance of those biomes are affected, which makes it odd. Oddly enough, i never noticed this issue a few months back with a similar server, but an older version of DH. I used to have multiple biome mods, including RU Can you regenerate specific LODs via coordinates?

You can force update it !forceupdate

To force a DH LOD to update, you should go to affected chunks one by one and place/destroy a couple of blocks, then wait a while in close proximity to the outdated chunks. To make the process more reliable, you can: - Increase the number of placed/broken blocks - Increase the DH CPU load preset - Decrease the DH RD - Re-enter the world before starting the process (but after decreasing the DH RD) - wait longer in even closer proximity

As for full regeneration it is possible, but you have to manually delete the existing LOD in the correct spot from the DB There is no fancy tool for that

Thanks for the very quick reply. I'll give the updating a go and see what happens!

Seems to not help at first try. Here's a screenshot just for some visual info:

Seems to affect the trees of a few biomes, but not every instance of them. I looked at some recent versions and noticed a fix for biome tints around 3 weeks ago. Are these things related perhaps? Sorry for spam, but i tried going back a few versions. It appears that 2.3.4-b does not have this visual issue for me.

having a somewhat similar issue, https://discord.com/channels/881614130614767666/1429174067814072520 Actually the exact same issue, seems like set biome colors for leaves are read wrong a good 30% of the time in the latest version of DH, checking rn to see if 2.3.4 also fixes it for me
