Asunto: IP ban assistance (Ticket SU-286875)
Hello team. I believe my server's IP 34.53.115.235 was auto-banned for abuse, which was my fault.
I had a script polling the DB frequently to check user status. I have already fixed the script to use a long-lived cache (CACHE_TTL_SECONDS=3600), so it will no longer cause high traffic.
Could you please remove my IP from the blocklist? My support ticket ID is SU-286875. Thank you!

You can check here if your ip is banned https://supabase.com/dashboard/project/_/database/settings

Hi inder, thanks for the quick reply!
I've checked that "Network Restrictions & Bans" pages, and my server IP 34.53.115.235 is not on that list. The list is empty, so it's not blocking anything.
However, my server at that IP is still getting a Connection refused error when trying to connect to the database.
Is it possible the IP was blocked by a different, automated abuse-detection firewall (separate from the "Network Restrictions" list)?

Are you sure that your password is correct? Was it working before?
Yes, I am 100% sure the password is correct. I even changed it twice.
I've easily run about 10 tests with different corrections, and they all lead to the same conclusion. Supabase is blocking me. Is this possible?
When you say you have done 10 tests with different connections, you mean tested with different ips?
No, I've made 10 changes to my code, all from the same IP address of my VM.
Try making a connection with some different ip. That should help narrow down the problem
use your own ip, vpn or use your mobile hotspot
Also in this doc its mentioned that if there is any ban it should be in the list. You can remove it from here or the ban will clear after 30 min. https://supabase.com/docs/guides/troubleshooting/error-connection-refused-when-trying-to-connect-to-supabase-database-hwG0Dr
and make sure your service is healthy

Thank you so much for your help. I finally found the error! I was confusing my login password with the database password.
