Desktop Toolbar Icon Breaking?
Hi, I realize this is insanely dumb but I'm not actually sure how to like.. figure out what's broken.
After I reboot I no longer see the Steam/Terminal/etc icons on the taskbar. Instead I see a broken icon.
Reverting to the previous version using rpm-ostree command listed on the site does fix it temporarily, however on reboot the taskbar is broken again. Is there a way for me to revert it or something?

discover was replaced by bazaar ages ago
Oh huh, I guess it makes sense that it wouldn't work, but I only installed the whole OS a couple weeks ago so I wouldn't think it'd ever have come up?
What's weirder is the terminal, steam icons etc disappear after reboot
I can just repin everything I guess because that's easy enough, I just can't figure out why it disappeared in the first place
Out of curiosity I tried a completely fresh install (from the iso I used a few weeks ago admittedly) and got the exact same behavior
Which I guess might point to it being an issue causing it in the current update?
which image did you download? did you verify the checksum?
It's the desktop nvidia image, I admittedly didn't verify the checksum but it was working just fine prior to running system update earlier today
Would be a few weeks old, I can see if I can grab it off the usb stick to make sure though!
I have exactly the same problem. I'm also using the nvidia stable image. The bazaar icon has been replaced by a broken discover icon and the terminal icon disappeared
can you give me
rpm-ostree status output please?can re-pin them
I will take a look at it

i'm using the same image
and same version
Yes, but why would it change by itself?
what's autofs?
kde 6.5 update likely broke something
Solution
no big deal, just re-pin for now
alright
does that only happen after a restart or something?
Yes, I think so
hmmm let me try restart
Oh sorry, missed some messages! I can run the same command to let you know, but yeah it looks like once you re-pin stuff it doesn't seem to revert back at least
oh huh, Ithought that's how markdown works, was trying to format it as code lol
not happening for me sorry
very strange
what a weird edge case of some form
I'm on the same image as you 2 and even the same version, just my layers are a bit different
Weirdly after trying a reinstall openrazer now isn't behaving, but that's almost certainly something else going on lol
