Snap to Detected Objects
Could OpenBrush detect existing surfaces (wall, floor, etc) and give us an option we can toggle on/off to use them as workplanes? Perhaps if the Workplane dialog is open, have the area pointed at glow blue and show a use wall as workplane dialog.
