Bazzite Desktop breaks when I plug in an external NVME

I am trying to clone my dual boot drives. My last step is to resize the Bazzite partition to become 1TB. But when I plug it in, Disks will eject the drive. Then the whole system becomes unstable. I have to force shutdown. I am using a Legion Go 2. Any suggestions to what is going on here?

cloning is best done when both drives unmounted so for example create a RescueZilla live USB, boot into it, and use the built-in clone tool. this is the safest method as for why the external NVMe is crashing the system, i think it's because of the automounting mechanism. if the drive has OS installations, i assume it gets confused, especially if your current Legion Go 2 OS drive has bazzite and the external drive also has bazzite

Okay thank you Amel, I will try to boot into RescueZilla or I heard gparted is good too. Any recommendations? I just want to resize the btrfs with bazzite on it to take up that empty 450GB of space to its right. I used my steam deck and was able to resize. I believe it is the UUID issue, because the cloned drive has the same UUID and the installed drive.
