live photos deletion

Hi. I have a bunch of live photos (mov in the server) that i would like deleted. Is it safe to just delete them from the server ( I hav e not seen any option in Immich)? How would it affect to rhe database? is something needed to do after the deletion? Thank you!!!!

You cannot delete items directly from the file system for the internal library. For those you need to go through the UI

no, you cannot delete only the live portion through the server. we don't support this

OK.... Thank you for the quick response. Hi. I downloaded all my photos incluing the mov files. then I deleted the whole month from immich UI. I cleaned the photos, meaning remove the .mov files and now I want to uplaod the files again. The problem is that immich says the image already exists. I guess this is omething related to the database. Is thre some way to clean the database so I can upload my images again?
