live photos deletion
Hi. I have a bunch of live photos (mov in the server) that i would like deleted. Is it safe to just delete them from the server ( I hav
e not seen any option in Immich)? How would it affect to rhe database? is something needed to do after the deletion?

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).
- Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like fdisk -l and df -h).
- The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.
- Any other information that you think might be relevant.
Please paste files and logs with proper code formatting, and especially avoid blurry screenshots.

If this ticket can be closed you can use the /close command, and re-open it later if needed.You cannot delete items directly from the file system for the internal library. For those you need to go through the UI

no, you cannot delete only the live portion through the server. we don't support this

Hi. I downloaded all my photos incluing the mov files. then I deleted the whole month from immich UI. I cleaned the photos, meaning remove the .mov files and now I want to uplaod the files again. The problem is that immich says the image already exists. I guess this is omething related to the database. Is thre some way to clean the database so I can upload my images again?
Did you also clean the trash in the Immich UI?
