Pointing CF configuration at SaaS solution fronted by CF
Our domains are managed in CF. And we are using a SaaS solution which uses CF, too. It's my understanding that we have to make sure that we do NOT proxy accesses to that host through our CF configuration. So the DNS record for that host is set as a CNAME, DNS only.
Now we are facing some challenges with users facing the "prove you're human" check on each and every request to that system. And as it does background calls, the service basically is broken for them. A user provided a RayID to investigate. The SaaS vendor now claims they can't find that ID on their end, as it must be coming from our configuration. But with a DNS only setup we wouldn't be doing any filtering on our end, would we? That's something CF actively tells us not to do, isn't it?
