Caring for leather shoes in snow/salt
I've gathered through this server + the Reddit good year welt sub that all you need to do for leather shoes is brush them on each wear and possibly condition them once or twice a year.
What about when you wear them in snow and salt? Is it important to pre-treat shoes before wearing them in slushy conditions? Or is it still fine to just brush the salt off? I got some Alden Indys recently for winter wear but I don't want to ruin them accidentally.
