Getting Better
I’m an ex-CoD player and a consistent Emerald in Siege. I used to play Valorant for a D1 college esports team at West Virginia University — I was solid back then, but I’ll be real, I’m rusty now. Siege became unplayable, so I dropped it.
Right now I’m on a gaming laptop with a 2040 GPU, 250Hz display, a Viper V3 Pro, and a Huntsman Mini. I’ve always been used to fast sensitivity and that CoD/Siege movement — crouching during gunfights, fast flicks, all that.
My friend put me on 800 DPI and 0.3 in-game (he’s Plat), but with the limited space on my desk, turning feels stiff and uncomfortable. I want something faster without nuking my accuracy, but Aimlabs won’t fully launch right now so testing is limited.
Pls help 🙁 I want to be a sweaty iso main
(Also my setup is only the laptop since im going to the navy)

I meant 4060 it wont let me edit
strafe while shooting
if ure just adjusting, try something in between, im also a high sens player and recently made the switch to lower sens,
before was like 1600 0.3-0.32
rn im hovering around 1600 0.18-2.2
u need to like experiment with ranges of sens till u find the perfect one tbh compared to staying / copying someones elses sens
cuz its personal preference, what fits for others wont always fit for you, tho u can get used to it
if your sens doesn’t feel good, go to the range, spawn in some bots, and try to track the bots head while strafing. then, slowly raise your sens by increments of 0.01 until you can comfortably track the bots head accurately
Double tap then strafe but sometimes my vandal bullets just arent straight it doesn’t make sens how good players can shoot the vandal more than 2 bullets without pulling down and hitting all headshots
i guess you could try raw accel
make sure your curve gets higher as you move your mouse
counter strafe
