How to get first job as a junior
I've been coding random stuff for as long as I can remember, but I started to focus on one Field for about 6 months now and It paid off
I learned a lot about frontend web development than I did all those years, but idk if i'm ready to take my first interview and get a job or not
I've been trying to land an interview in LinkedIn for about 2 months now but nothing, either they ask for a senior role or a bachelors in CS
my friend told me that you can't find jobs at LinkedIn
share your thought about this, and if you have any advice I would really appreciate it

What do you mean ? Finding a job at LinkedIn or on Linkedin ?
I already changed job 3 times, and always used Linkedin, I tried to use other platforms but never got much luck. On Linkedin you can put yourself open to work and set other preferences and if you match the skills for the jobs in your area, then you’re gonna get some recruiters contacting you.
Most companies don’t really care about the degree, it’s more about what you did in your projects and the skills you can demonstrate. But if you have a degree that surely gives you a hand to find your first job but it’s not mandatory.
What I would recommend to do is first if you don’t have any experience to have projects, then you should only have one page of your resume, no recruiter is gonna spend an hour reading an essay. Then you should list your achievements and put them in a way that even less technical people can understand what you did.
This is the template I’ve been using, seems the original link doesn’t work any more but I found a snapshot on the internet archive

Can I get your GitHub?
The link is really helpful
