Dual Shock 4 - Steam stand by settings not working as intended.

I have an issue with my [2 of them] DS4 controllers.
They do not idle into standby - they will jsut stay on until flat.
Steam has a idle setting, but it doesnt appear to be working.
Previously when using windows I would use DS4Windows to push advanced config.
Is there anything like that that works with Bazzite - OR does anyone have a fix for steams inbuilt functionality?
