Payment method is messed up across two accounts

I created my own account at CF, put in my payment method and transferred a few domain names. Then I helped a friend create a CF account and transfer 2 domain names with their payment method, then we made me a member of their account. Because my CC is expiring I went in to add the new one and saw that my account is set to use their CC. I edited my payment method for my new CC and now their account is showing mine as the payment method. How do I fix this? Each account should have their own payment method.

Cloudflare’s “Payments” system can be confusing because billing profiles can get linked when you are added as a member with billing permissions. The good news: it’s fixable, but you need to separate the billing profiles so each Cloudflare account has its own payment method.

Can you tell me more about separating them? I am in the Assign Roles area and am a Super Administrator. I see that I could make myself a plain Admin but then I can't manage billing at all... I can add that role but then I'm back where I started? I would like to be able to edit billing, just not have them linked like this. Also if I take off Super Admin there's a whole lot of otyher roles I don't even understand, some of which seem mutually exclusive (Super Admin, Admin Read Only, Minimal Access, etc) so I feel like I'd make a mess. Know of any good docs to help me? Thanks!
