Players receive a notification that states when the Plated Tanks are going to spawn during a match. Plated Tanks spawn outside the Missile Silo walls, usually within these locations. You will be notified if there are any Plated Tanks detected nearby.
Speaking from my own experience, they spawn randomly. You may not see them every match....
