Real McCoy's MA-1 Sizing
I know this is one of those "look at the size charts and make your own call" questions but having never sized for an MA-1 style jacket before I'm a bit lost. I dig this Real McCoy's jacket, but can't work out how it's supposed to fit. I'm 5'9" 160lbs and almost always wear a US medium, but the measurements on this make the medium look very oversized especially in the chest. Do bombers have a design/style that makes the chest measurement forgiving? Do the wrist/waistbands make them sit a little higher than the length measurements let on? Or maybe these are just intentionally oversized and I should try sizing down.
I'd take a shot at the medium and exchange for small if it's a bit clown-ish, but can only seem to find them in overseas shops that would be difficult and expensive to exchange.
