I’m Still an Easy Kill… What Am I Doing Wrong With Strafing
Hello, I need help with something. I usually end up being an easy target — the enemy doesn’t even need to be good to shoot me. I’m trying to understand why this happens. Could you help me figure it out?
I’ve tried strafing, counter-strafing, and many different techniques, but nothing seems to work. No matter what I do, I still feel like a very easy target. For example, when I’m holding an angle, should I strafe? If so, what type of strafe should I be using?
Here’s how I was doing my strafes:
For normal strafes, I would press A, release it, stop, and then keep spamming A again.
For counter-strafes, I would press A, then quickly tap the opposite key (D), and stop again.
Most of the time my bullets went where I aimed, but for some reason I still end up being an easy target, and I don't really understand why.
Do I need to use micro-strafing or something similar?
Or have I misunderstood how strafing actually works?
