why does DH make random pillars and incorrect colours to some areas of my build.
so I was building this big build for me and my friends server, and I noticed DH causing this issue, where these pillars just appear randomly don't exist and some parts of my wall and ceiling are not the correct colour. also yes I am using a mod that does allow me to build more underground.

all of the walls and ceiling are stone, the floor is stone bricks
Maki sure the cave culling height is set to a value lower than your floor or that cave culling is disabled
Then you can try increasing the quality preset
Disabled cave culling quality is maxed
I did that before i took those screen shots
the screen shots I took was with the highest graphic settings
and cave culling on
DH and Axiom might not be playing well with eachother
Have you tried just completely resetting the LODs and generating them again?
yeh I have twice, I even deleted all files apart from the config and mod related to DH, and its not just with axiom, even after I remove axiom and just use world edit its the same thing
for some reason stone bricks works fine but when I use just stone in any building
I get that
I have just done some more tests, and it does seem to be something to do with axiom, and it only affects any blocks that are vertical
if its a 1 block tall floor with nothing else above or under it, seems fine
but once I make the floor thicker than 1 block it seems to start doing what I showed in the image
you can see the floor off in the distance looks fine till you realise its not suppose to look like that

the floor is suppose to be this, all 1 block in the bottom to the top

im not sure whats going on here too but I didnt use axiom to build this, this is just world edit

World edit does not play with DH any better than Axiom
!forceupdate
To force a DH LOD to update, you should go to affected chunks one by one and place/destroy a couple of blocks, then wait a while in close proximity to the outdated chunks.
To make the process more reliable, you can:
- Increase the number of placed/broken blocks
- Increase the DH CPU load preset
- Decrease the DH RD
- Re-enter the world before starting the process (but after decreasing the DH RD)
- wait longer in even closer proximity
You can try this
how do I increase the DH cpu load preset on a server?
use the
/dh command (follow the auto complete)im using the modded version not the plugin version so not sure If I have access to those commands
Mod has the
/dh command
Plugin has /dhs command
You just have to be a server operator /op and you should be able to use them
Make sure you aren't trying to use an incomplete command, you can see the wiki for the full command format and use auto complete
