Fps drop
I have an ASUS TUF A16 FA617NSR with an R7 7435HS and an RX 7600S. Lately, I’ve noticed some changes with my laptop. When I play Valorant, the fans get really loud, which didn’t happen before. My FPS used to stay around 165 consistently, but now whenever there’s smoke or when I change angles, it drops to around 80 and becomes unstable. It’s really affecting my gameplay. Can someone please help me? knowing that this configuration should allow me to play at 165 fps straight without any problem and have no thermal throthling .

so they only try to auto manage it and u can t oc due to the vbios

get rid of your old driver clean and restart
The reinstall driver again

I didn t pay a 1000$ pc just to fps drop on a weak graphic game like valorant

I searched a lot and found out that my gpu is not working on 2000hz it only works on 1100mhz wich is low and same thing for tdp 20w normally shoul be 60w idk how to solve because on benchmark i have normal stats but on val it s another story
@momo hey so I am also facing this same issue.. I used to get 150 constant fps and it fluctuate alot recently and even freezing the screen sometimes and crashing the game... i get the crash dump message but can't send the report cuz of the screen freezing

Ig i just fixed my probleme i just reset my powercfg
I had this probleme cuz i created armoury crate profile and ghelper profil and i did some modification and they corrupted so i just typed this command on cmd as admin
powercfg -restoredefaultschemes
It worked for now i m not that sure i fixed my probleme for long term
But for now it's working Fine

Just try the same if u did modification on ur power settings
I had a nvidia gpu try to uninstall graphics driver with ddu
And reinstall them
