Screen Tearing without sky being a factor. (Diagonal Cut)
Fabric 1.21.10
I just upgraded from a 3070ti to a 9070 xt and now without any settings having been changed with minecraft directly, my screen is diagonally split and runs upward at the split point as seen in the image. The problem is only active while Shaders (Bliss) are enabled.
I have tried all the solutions tied to the "Sky Repeating Terrain" problem, but this one appears to not be related as I can see the sky perfectly fine at the edge of the Diagonal Cut.

Make sure your GPU driver is up to date, and the MC is using the correct GPU
GPU Drivers are up to date, I used DDU to uninstall the Nvidia suite of software and drivers. Is there anything specific I have to do to make sure MC is using the correct GPU?
I figured the GPU setting out, and set the game to use the GPU in High Performance mode, and the visual glitch still persists.
Can you send SS with the F3 menu open?
Does it happen with other shaders or only Bliss?
Yes it happens with other shaders, I've tried both Proton and Solus with the same general issue.

I haven't narrowed it down to specifically Iris, but I think Iris is the primary culprit, or an interaction with my new GPU. Other games are totally fine, so it isn't the GPU, I'm getting unworldly FPS on 2077 and Tarkov on essentially maxed non-RT settings.
what os?
W11.
do you have some sorta opencl/opengl/vulkan compatibility layer installed in the microsoft store?
I believe so yes.
uninstall it
ok
might need to reinstall your driver for it to register correctly
why is this the 3rd person in like 2 days with this thing causing problems
did microsoft just start installing that recently
No it was a solution for an old problem unrelated to this.
not to do with MC
uninstalled it, now getting this error on launch:

yea you need to reinstall your driver
I will do so
will report back when it's all done.
This fixed the issue, thank you so much I would have never thought about that MS Store OpenCL/GL/Vulkan pack being part of the culprit.
However just in case someone else runs into this issue, DDU alone will not fully solve the issue, you have to use the AMD Cleanup utility as well afterward.
Again thanks, I'll mark this as solved.
I have no idea why this compatibility pack exists
seems like its using mesa on windows from your screenshot or something???
Yeah I guess, Mesa is gone now.

It's a very strange issue, I've never run into it before and I've fixed most issues involving shaders over the years.
it was translating opengl to dx12
because???
microsoft is garbage i guess
oh that is cursed
very
cursed

you appear highly knowledgeable in these finer graphical details, so i am taking the opportunity to attempt to hijack your attention with respect to specifically this vaguely related github question (the most recent post of its thread):

What happened? About 30% of the time joining a server, I get the attached screenshot for a result. That was using Bliss shader, but a similar issue occurs on MakeUp-UltraFast... what both issues ha...
just curious what your take is on the purpose of the changes in that code diff
I am not highly knowledgable in graphics programming though lol, I just help a lot of people so I remember very weird bugs
also I have no experience with the iris codebase and very little with dh
you probably have to ask IMS in the iris discord or something
