fps drop crash blue screen
at first, i started experiencing FPS drops, so i formatted my computer and reinstalled valorant. i applied the same updates again, but now every time i find a match, my game constantly crashes in the lobby or during gameplay. sometimes it gives an error, sometimes it doesn’t, and sometimes i just get a blue screen. i haven’t been able to fix this

you have 1 stick of 8gb ram or 2 of 4gb ?
1x8
you have faulty ram
i normally use 16 RAM but other one is broken
did you enable xmp in bios ?
now both are broken
DAMN
but tell me
is your xmp enabled in bios ?
hmm idk
go to bios and check
also do you have usb stick ?
yep
we can run memory test
but usb stick has windows installed in it
you need to format it
if you want to do mem test
but your dump say it clear that your ram is broken
its been 2 days since i formatted
the computer is completely clean now
i just downloaded valo
dosent matter
if its faulty ram then you will get crash left and right
run mem test
see what you get
what are we doin now mem test or xmp?
xmp its just light overclock on your ram
memtest is to check if your ram are broken or not

Don't ask me bro

If u ask my suggestion then the suggestion is to bare with the ram for now
These prices are crazy
problem it will keep crash
Valorant crashes more than anything
i dont know if his xmp is on and if it would make diffrnce if he disable xmp on not
ye but now its clear faulty rams
The way vanguard interacts with the pc makes it worse. It shouldn't crash as much if u just play other games with the same ram
yea i only get crashing issues or blue screen errors in just valo
thats the start
you can see it faster in val than any other game
later you will start to crash everywhere
If the ram was like too bad then windows won't even boot
What issue were u facing with ur old ram stick

you said you had 16 gb ? and you removed one bc it was broken

why you thought it was broken ?
i think i ran memtest, and windows never loaded and i kept getting a memory management error
