Shearling coat proper length
So I've been looking for a shearling "rancher" style coat for a while now (upwards of a year), and while I've gotten more serious about it I've been struggling to decide how long I should go with it. For a wool coat (I've also had my eye on those but it's lower on the list of things I'm seeking) I'd want to go pretty long, but for this I think I want to go shorter. This started when I borrowed one in the attached picture, but sadly I didn't think to measure it at the time and don't have access to it anymore. I can still figure out roughly the length by comparing to things I own, but my concern is if it's too short. Of course there's some personal preference there, but I've been known to misperceive what looks like it fits right. I'm using the second and third pictures for reference on the length; I'm leaning towards the second but a lot of them that are my chest size seem to be closer to the third
(note: I'm looking at secondhand options so try-on isnt an option, unless I guess if I track some similar ones down to a store)
