Question regarding Steam Cloud Saves between Linux and Windows
One of the things holding me back from switching to any Linux distro is the fact that a lot of games cloud saves don’t carry over between Windows and Linux (though I’ve heard some work just fine). I’m worried about testing games on Linux only to have it overwrite my Windows Steam Cloud save with a Linux one and completely screw me over.
Does anyone have experience with this or know if the issue has been fixed in the last couple of years?
(I’m basing my concern on what things were like 2–3 years ago when I first looked into switching.)
