Bazzite on an Intel iMac 2020
I’m trying to boot Bazzite on my iMac (2020) using a dedicated partition, but I’m running into issues before the partitioning step even matters.
For context, I already have Windows installed via Boot Camp, and I’ve enabled external drive booting in macOS Recovery. Based on multiple guides, I’ve done the following:
• Downloaded the Bazzite ISO
• Flashed it to a USB drive
The problem occurs when I try to boot from the USB. On restart, the USB shows up as EFI alongside BOOTCAMP and macOS, which is expected. However, when I select the EFI option, it loads into the menu shown in the image. I’ve attempted this with Ubuntu as well and run into the exact same issue, getting stuck at this same step every time.
Does anyone know whats going on and have a solution? If you need more information I can provide it.
