Hangs/stutters every 2-3 seconds in desktop and gaming mode
bazzite-deck-nvidia, Ryzen 5 7600X, RTX 4080
CPU spikes with the same periodicity as the hangs, all input drops when it hangs so it's pretty unusable currently. So far i think i've narrowed it down to a wayland/nvidia driver thing. I tried rebasing to see if that fixed anything, and honestly it might have made it worse, because i don't remember it being a problem in gaming mode until the rebase. thanks in advance for any help

hey thanks for all the help guys it was a weird one; this only happens when a specific monitor connected to the computer (Acer P243W) isn't enabled. so the fix (until whatever this actually is gets addressed) is to physically disconnect the monitor instead of disabling it when not in use.
