Bazzite noob, installing on identical ssd.

So I've got identical ssds, two P310's. I use one for windows, and the other one's just waiting for a linux distro. I need help telling which one is which during the bazzite install. Is there anything I can do to make the empty drive more obvious?

Solution

use crystaldiskinfo and note down their serial numbers
then in the terminal on the live iso, run

ls -la /dev/disk/by-id

ls -la /dev/disk/by-id

and you should be able to figure out which disk node is what as the serial number will be shown
