MangoHUD works in desktop mode, but not in game mode
Hello, I've just installed a fresh download of Bazzite-deck on a DIY desktop (Ryzen 8700G + RX 7600) about nine hours ago, and I've been fighting with it ever since, haha.
TL;DR MangoHUD simply does not appear at all in Game Mode. The options are there, you can enable the performance overlay, but it does not appear.
The normal Steam overlays (Ctrl+1, Ctrl+2, QAM etc) work fine, everything else seems fine. Performance is good.

Unfortunately I don't know enough about neither Linux in general nor Bazzite in particular to know where to troubleshoot further. I'm an experienced Windows admin, dipped my toes into Linux back in the kernel 2.4 days, and this is my first time getting back into it now...

mangohud vkcube in desktop mode works as expected. I was not able to get the performance overlay to work in game mode, so I rebased to testing (with brh) and it didn't seem to help anything.Adding
mangohud %command% to a Steam game's launch options makes it fail to launch—no errors, no crash, just the little Steam logo sits there and spins forever. Confirmed with multiple games (30XX, Bloodstained: ROTN, Ori WOTW). Unfortunately I don't know enough about neither Linux in general nor Bazzite in particular to know where to troubleshoot further.
