Rocket League Not Launching - New to Linux

I have an old laptop same distro that can boot this up just fine without worries.

After recently changing my main computer over to mint linux this has been a nightmare getting this game to run.

I press play, it says launching, then playing, but nothing ever opens - no splash screen or anything.

Any help is much appreciated. Ty!

I tried pasting the log it attached as a file.
