Electronic Identification

Hello,

Totally new to linux, installed Bazzite yesterday, seems great so far.

I'm just a bit confused about software installation.

For example, i'd like to install this software (card reader):

What would be the proper way to install it ?

Can i install it with Flatpak or, if i understand correctly, do i have to use Distrobox ?

Looks like Distrobox is the way, I don't see a flatpak for this

Going back to this problem. I installed eid viewer in a distro but it seems that firefox cannot communicate with it.

What's the way to make electronic identification working on Bazzite ? I'm from Belgium.

Would this method work : https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Electronic_identification#Belgium ?

assuming it is not a kernel driver but a userland driver, you probably will need to install all of that inside a distrobox including the browser

as i severely doubt all of that is packaged as a flatpak
