Z max ? printers crashes itself after 375mm print on Vcore3.1 - 400mm
setup
Hi everyone.
I've been printing big parts recently (375/380mm height), and everything went well during printing BUT ! Between the end of a print and the beginning of the next one, the printer made a horrible noise for a few seconds. Since it's in another room, I didn't have my eyes on it to see where the noise came from, but i think I found the culprit ! After the end of a print, there is a secure move that Z-lift the head (Zmove) and puts it in a parking spot at the back of the machine(X+Ymove) So after thet the position is 380mm + Xmm. The problem seems to happen when I launch another print, because then the printer tries to home each axis, and it does another "secure move" and lowers again the builplate and then everything crashes and the motors scream. My machine goes beyong the 400mm total travel for some reason and the 3xZ motors cry for your help.
To clarify the order of things happening: Launch first print End of print => Z=380 mm Secure Zmove(X1) + parking => Z= 380 + X1 mm Launch another print Homing begins => secure Zmove(X2) again for X and Y homing => 380+X1+X2 is more than 400mm total travel and crashes.
Can someone help me try and solve this thing ? Cause I'd really like to print at least 395mm tall objects on a machine rated for 400mm. I think all those parameters are in ratos/macros but I have no idea what to change or how to do it. I'd like to reduce all those secure lifts or delete some of them if possible.
