I bought a secondhand Vcore 3.1 thats been sitting for the last 4 years. I got it for 150€ so i dont mind upgrading it and spending some money to get it up and running.
Some stepper-motor cables are not plugged in and lots of other stuff is loose and maybe missing. Soon as i plugged printer to power the bltouch probe almost caught fire, previous owner had plugged it in wrong slot on motherboard(ordered an eddy duo probe). After disconnecting the probe it booted fine, connected to internet and to klipper interface. So seems motherboard(octopus 1.1) and raspberry (B model4) is fine.
Heated the bed and extruder and they seem to be alive and well. Tried to home the axis and Y&X axis homes fine-ish and endstops are working but the gantry makes awful noises like belts are too tight and/or bearings are shot. So i am thinking about doing the 3.2 gantry upgrade. Z axis wont home since some steppers are unplugged.
Information from previous owner is very short but here it is: Bigtreetech octopus,Rpi4, Keenovo 1000w 220 v heater, 24 volt meanwell powersupply . Enclosure in polycarbonate.
I struggle finding a logical wiring diagram to correctly plugging everything back in and getting it up and running running. If anybody is willing to get on a call with me and guide me i would greatly appreciate it and be happy to pay for your time. This is my first ratrig and i dont have any experience with theese kind of printers since all my other ones are qidis, flashforge and sovols. fix-my-printerNo Access
