Issue with Google Takeout and iPhone Sync Recents
I am working on moving from Google Photos to Immich. I used google takeout to get my photos and videos out of google photos and managed to get my photos in Immich with very little problems.
When I enabled backup on my iPhone app, I selected the Recents album, and sync worked. I ended up with duplicates and the deduplication tool worked super well to detect and remove them.
Then the iPhone app saw that there were missing photos and reuploaded them all. It seems the deduplication randomly defaulted to one of the two duplicates and sometimes that was the one uploaded from the iPhone and sometimes it was not.
My question is: what would be the process of fixing this? I have a few ideas but i'm not sure if they would work or be worth it:
-Delete everything from Immich, set iPhone to backup Recents album, then reupload all photos through the cli and count on deduplication to work then and not upload any of the photos that the iPhone already uploaded
-Figure out if there is a way to make the dedupe default to "Keep" on photos that are "In 1 album" (Nothing else is in an album so this would always be the image uploaded from the phone)
-Just delete everything on my phone since everything is backed up already, then only new stuff would get uploaded
