Bad Routing
Hi Riot Support,
I’m experiencing high ping and occasional packet loss due to bad routing from my ISP. I play on the Frankfurt server using a 200/100 fiber connection over Ethernet.
On my previous ISP, my ping to Frankfurt was around 30 ms, but now with Makedonski Telekom AD-Skopje it’s consistently 57 ms. This only affects League and Valorant, other games still give me around 30 ms, so it appears to be a routing issue specifically to Riot’s servers.
When I use a VPN or Cloudflare WARP, my ping drops to 30–40 ms, which confirms that an alternate route fixes the issue.
I know this exact routing issue was fixed on my previous ISP, so I’m hoping you can check the routing/peering for my current ISP as well.
