DH for pregenerating massive world on a server?

Hi friends,

I've been working on an absolutely massive modpack (approaching 600 mods) and plan to self host on my own dedicated hardware for my friends and I to use. A huge issue I've been encountering is due to the sheer volume of terrain generation/structure mods, when a player generates chunks, the game becomes absolutely unplayable for an extreme amount of time, in both singleplayer and when on a server. This is obviously not great because I plan to run this server for years and constantly explore outwards, and the only solution i've found is using chunky to pregenerate large areas of the map. When within the pregenerated area, players can explore freely and the game runs just fine, but as soon as they hit that edge, it's joever for everyone involved. Nothing is interactable, AI stops moving, the works.

My question is, since even after reading the FAQ I don't truly understand, is DH alone capable of pregenerating real chunks (not just LODs) out in a massive radius (like tens of thousands of chunks) serverside so that when I finally do launch the server, players reaching an edge that LOOKS generated but isn't actually generated won't be an issue?

Also, if this is possible, would you mind giving me a quick checklist of what I need to do to get it running?

When everything is ready, I plan to let a pregenerator run for quite a long time (potentially weeks or more if needed) to avoid issues when actually playing.

Thank you!

Sidenote: I'm not sure how to compile a modlist (as per post guidelines) without just posting the entire curseforge modpack in this thread.
